The PositionWe are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible, and detail-oriented assistant purchasing officer with strong organizational and communication skills. This person will assist in the tracking of goods and supplies within the Supply Chain network, as well as assist with our customer support. This is the opportunity to gain experience in international supply chain covering 30 countries across the world.We would not only train you on the Supply Chain processes; upon successful completion of the traineeship, we would provide you a career development path into a future Team Leader position.
Your role will involve but not limited to:Processing customer’s payments and refundsHandling order enquiries and tracking from customersResolving disputes on payments and refundsGiving regular updates to our major partnersProcess the daily purchase order for eyewear and contact lenses product lineUpdate the order status and shipment or manifest according to supplier’s feedbackHandle day to day issues with purchase orders and suppliers shipmentsHandle invoice checking process and accuracyCommunicate with International suppliers on a daily basisReport to the Department Manager on a regular basis
The Qualified CandidatesA Bachelor degree holder from reputable UniversityCompetent in ExcelFluent in English (CET 6 or above) and/or ChineseStrong interdepartmental communication and team work skills across the companyDemonstrate passion and responsibilities for the work and projects at handReliable and organized with good time management skills
