MainResponsibilities o   Understandour respective business needs and corresponding  procurement category strategyo   Identify opportunities (e.g. valueengineering, innovation etc.) and gather market intelligenceo   Profile and select potential vendorso   Negotiate terms and conditions withChinese vendorso   Drive measurable and sustainableresults – example: cost reduction/ high service levels/lower cost of doingbusiness/ access to supplier resources to drive innovation and renovation.o   Together with Export Supervisor, ensureexecution and full compliance through highly effective collaboration andcommunication with regional/local procurement. Arrange and follow-up ofsamples, shipment plans, pre-shipment controls, actual shipments &documentation, complaints, quality gaps,  innovation needs etc.o   Monitor feedback and results and takenecessary action  Main Purpose of Jobo   Under the direction of the ProcurementManager of CST and as a member of the China Sourcing Team provide input for,and contribute to, the sourcing strategy in China.o   Together with the respectivestakeholders in the customer markets select suppliers, negotiate agreements andmanage contracts.
